Spring Growth & Infused Vinegars
As the seasons change so does the vitality of the plants around us. Spring is a time for supporting the lymphatic and elimination systems of the body with plants re-emerging from Winter with new growth. Adding an herb infused vinegar into one’s self care routine is a wonderful way to celebrate Spring. Infused vinegars are the ideal alternative to alcohol based tinctures, extracting the medicinal qualities of the herbs effectively. They also are a delicious addition to the kitchen, finding their way into salad dressings, refreshing beverages, and more.
In this workshop, we will learn about nutrient-rich herbs that grow locally and abundantly. Favorite uses for herbs like chickweed, nettle, dandelion, and burdock will be covered. We will discuss creative ways to care for the lymphatic and digestive systems to support seasonal wellness. All participants will have the opportunity to make our own infused herbal vinegar with a variety of fresh & dried herbs to take home.
